Multi-Asset Funds
Multi-Asset Investing allows investors exposure to a range of different asset classes that typically tend to behave in different ways. Each type of asset has specific features which are worth holding over the long term, but there are periods when one performs much better than the other. As a result under-performance from one asset type should be balanced by out-performance from others. Strategic asset allocation ensures Peterhouse’s managers implement long term views on the relative merits of various asset types. By blending the range of asset types in portfolio construction, Peterhouse’s managers meet the Fund’s risk profile whilst aiming to optimise return. Allied to this Peterhouse’s funds employ active tactical asset allocation which enable our managers to make short term changes to the strategic asset allocation with the aim of enhancing potential returns. At Peterhouse our Multi-Asset Funds use a fund of fund approach, combining in-house funds with best in class external funds. Alongside these strategic allocations Exchange Traded Funds tactical changes to short term asset mix.
